The purpose of the study was to examine the different factors which influence the performance of Bangladesh's tea industry. The study has focussed on the impact of various factors on the operations within the sector. Accompanying the assessment of these impacting factors, recommendations have been provided, thus, fulfilling the purpose of the case study. The first chapter will delve into the limitations of the research and will highlight the structure followed throughout the entire paper. The second chapter presents a detailed account of the theoretical variables, models and theories relating to the aim of the research paper. The third chapter focuses on providing details about the processes, philosophy and will delve into the descriptive designs which have been used. With the assistance of models, the data researched will be presented in the nourth chapter. The collected and mentioned data in the fourth chapter has been discussed with the details collected from the relevant sources. In the fifth chapter, a conclusion is drawn in the context of the key research issues, based on which the recommendations are provided as per the four identified issues identified at the begin-ning of the research. The outcomes have been found to be able to be mitigated if the recommendations of diversified tea products are introduced like other competitors in the market.
Proper product, place and promotional activities should be conducted worldwide to attract foreign buyers. Strategic alliance with some of the global tea companies can be a better option for the tea industry of Bangladesh for further market expansion. A lack of international marketing and celebrity endorsements are further marketing issues faced by the indus-try. Training helps in mitigating human resource issues, decreasing tea prices as well as, increasing the amount of exported tea will help in reducing economic issues. Decreasing a monopolistic system will provide a higher advantage to the smaller manufacturers in eliminating pricing issues. Lastly, future scope for the research is mentioned which provide the potential the research will get in the future and in how many ways it can be used.
